A thought for this week.
I studied Business Studies at Edinburgh University and one day our Professor appeared at our lecture with a tripod. We all thought “What’s going on here ?”.
He said - and it is so true - “Every company, whether large or small has three legs - the first is the Operations, the second is the Marketing and the third is the Finance- and if any of those legs are weak, the company will fall over”.
So when recruiting, do you have the balance of Operations, Marketing and Finance?
Also are you taking professional advice on HR maters ? - worth the expense - employee tribunals can be very expensive, if you have been trying to cut corners!
